I miss the days when being internet famous didn't mean that you had to show your face. In the golden age of Twitter, all you needed was a sharp wit and a way with words to become a semi-respected Dril worshipper. While it's still just about possible to develop a bit of a reputation based on text alone, it feels like things are moving more and more into the influencer career direction (thanks for that, TikTok).

At the same time, that doesn't mean the humble tweet has become irrelevant. Far from it!
